Not just the program but also the instrument used for the recording is interesting in the CD series which appeared in the shops under the title "Pleyel Double Grand Series". The piano built on the principle of "one body, one soul" was a guest in the Hungaroton studio for several weeks for its unique voice to be recorded. "Pleyel & Contemporaries", the first part of the series, was prepared in 2000, and it devoted its program to Ignaz Pleyel, the founder of the Pleyel factory, and to composers who had contact with the Pleyel family (Chopin, Rossini, Liszt, etc.). |
